A woman has been told by a sheriff to buy her kebabs elsewhere after breaching a court order.

Alice Conway went into Chillies Indian takeaway in Glasgow’s Cardonald on December 16, 2021.

The 46-year-old had been granted bail for another matter in April 2021 with a condition not to go to the premises or contact Kasim Abid.

Prosecutor Ross Canning told Glasgow Sheriff Court today: “An employee became aware that she was entering.

“She was asked to leave on multiple occasions.

“She refused to leave and at that time police were contacted, then attended where the position was confirmed.”

Conway pleaded guilty to the single charge of breaching her bail condition.

Elaine Rae, defending, said: “The only thing missing was she was attempting to order food as it was close to her address.

“She was drinking heavily and she went in there without intention of causing problems.”

Sheriff Allan Findlay ordered Conway to be of good behaviour for six months.

He said: “Stay away from this place - it’s a bail condition - don’t go near it. 

“This has got to stop - get your kebabs from somewhere else.”

Conway replied: “Yes.”

The matter will recall again in January.
