MAJOR roads around Glasgow's Southside are set to close to allow filming of a new TV crime drama.

The Glasgow Times can reveal that crews will be on site at roads in Pollokshields working on production of Loss and A Return.

According to insiders, the show is a "stylish, contemporary crime drama".

And it is being made by HTM Television Ltd, the firm behind major hits Line of Duty, starring Martin Compston, and Bodyguard, which featured Richard Madden. 

Expect road closures and disruption on August 16, 17 and 18 around the area.

Here is a full list of the roads affected and dates and times of restriction applying to all vehicles.

Emergency service vehicles carrying out an emergency response or vehicles given permission from Glasgow City Council filming and events section are still allowed to use the routes.
