Community grants have been given out in East Kilbride as part of its 75th anniversary celebrations.
The new town turned 75 in May and South Lanarkshire Council has granted funding for projects to celebrate the occasion.
To commemorate the anniversary, applications were invited by the council from groups to host events which reflected the type of celebrations the community identified throughout an engagement process.
