A CYCLIST is battling serious injuries after being involved in a crash with a car on a Glasgow road.
The bike and vehicle collided on Ardencraig Road in the city's Castlemilk shortly after 1pm on Sunday afternoon.
Emergency services raced to the scene and the bike rider, whose age is unknown, was taken to hospital to be treated.
The incident caused some disruption to public transport, as First Glasgow tweeted that their 75 and 46 bus services would be diverting.

Due to a Road Traffic Incident on Ardencraig Rd, services 75 & 46 are diverting via CASTLEMILK DRIVE, ARDENCRAIG ROAD, BIRGINDALE to NORMAL ROUTE. Opposite same in reverse.
Cops confirmed that they were now investigating the crash.
A police spokesperson said: “Around 1.35pm on Sunday, August 28, 2022 officers were called to a report of crash involving a bicycle and a car on Ardencraig Road, Glasgow.
"Emergency services attended and the bike rider was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
"Enquiries are ongoing.”
