Motorway exit CLOSED due to ongoing police incident
A MOTORWAY exit in Hamiton has been closed due to a police incident.
Traffic Scotland has advised drivers that junction 6 of the M74 (Hamilton services) is currently shut to traffic.
The incident was first reported at 6.33am and an update at 7.01am revealed the exit was still closed.

Traffic is said to be coping well, but drivers are being asked to prepare for delays.
Police Scotland has been approached for comment.
