PEOPLE have been shining laser pens at aircraft flying over Clydebank.
Police have issued a warning following the recent incidents - including one which took place on August 3, on Faifley Road.
Several reports have been received, according to Argyll & West Dunbartonshire Police Division.
In a statement, the force said: "We have received reports of people shining laser pens toward aircraft flying over West Dunbartonshire.
"This is extremely dangerous and can result in the aircraft pilot losing visibility and being dazzled by the light.
"One such incident occurred about 9pm on Wednesday, August 3, on Faifley Road, Clydebank.

"If you are aware of anyone involved in this incident please contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 3810 on August 3, 2022.
"This is a crime under the Laser Misuse (vehicles) Act 2018 due to the dangers caused by it."
