PARTS of two motorways had to be closed after a lorry's wheel came off.
The HGV vehicle broke down on the M8 eastbound at junction 22 at around 9.10am this morning.
Pictures at the scene show a wheel lying at the side of the road.
Police and Trunk Road Incident Support Service (TRISS) were sent to the incident.

The recovery vehicle picking up the lorry needed to be escorted against the traffic, so police had to temporarily close the carriageway.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called to a report of a broken down vehicle on the eastbound M8 motorway in Glasgow around 9.10am on Monday, September 19, 2022.
"The eastbound carriageway and the northbound carriageway of the M77 were closed to allow the vehicle to be recovered.”
