A GOLFING experience venue currently being built on the outskirts of Glasgow is creating 300 new jobs for the local area.
Topgolf is today launching a recruitment drive to find bartenders, bay hosts, runners, guest services team members, porters, chefs, cleaners and more.
The Rutherglen-based venue, which is set to open later this year, has already recruited its senior leaders, who flew out to Dallas last week to begin their training in Texas, where they will get first-hand experience of operations in the USA.
The three-level venue will bring a completely new golfing experience to Scotland with 72 state-of-the-art hitting bays where players will experience the unique technology-driven fun.
Players can expect point-scoring games, food, drink, music, and private event rooms for corporate meetings and celebrations.
Simon Green, director of operations for Topgolf Glasgow, said: “Topgolf is an amazing company to work for and our Glasgow venue is one of the best locations yet.
“We call our staff ‘playmakers’, because ultimately, they help our players have a great time. We’re now searching for confident individuals with star quality who go above and beyond, approaching every task with energy and pride. We’ve truly got some fabulous roles available.”
