A series of activity camps for youngsters are returning to Renfrewshire just in time for the school holidays.

OneRen’s activity-packed camps will be running every weekday from Monday, October 17 until Friday, October 21 from 10am until 3pm.

The camps are held in Linwood and the Park Mains Sports Complex in Erskine and are set to be filled with fun and action for kids and young people.

Young people that have been in P1 or up to S3 in secondary school can enjoy days filled with different sports, themed days, and arts and crafts projects during the activity camps.

OneRen will also be hosting an Active Families Disability Sport and Activity Club for kids from P1 to S6 with a sensory impairment or disability on October 20 at The Lagoon in Paisley.

The event at The Lagoon will have a bouncy castle as well as sports and other activities led by qualified coaches.

A parent or guardian must accompany participants for the duration of the club and siblings are encouraged to join in the activities.

Fiona Watson, sport and health services manager at OneRen, said: “We offer fantastic activities for children and young people during the school holidays and we want as many people as possible to come and join in the fun.

“We’re building on the success of our previous summer, spring and October camps, which have become very popular.

“There really is something for everyone to enjoy during the October break – be part of it!”
