The Glasgow Times has teamed up with Scottish fitness retail start-up Factory Weights to give local schools the opportunity to win thousands of pounds worth of sports equipment.
The new 40,000 sq ft Factory Weights HQ is situated just a stone’s throw from Glasgow Fort and offers customers the chance to try top notch sports equipment in a state-of-the-art retail space before buying.
Factory Weights also has a unique indoor and outdoor gym space that can be use by the community as well as fitness professionals. The team also launched a new PT Academy to help encourage more PTs into the industry with a unique personal training course.
This September, the Glasgow Times has partnered with Factory Weights to offer six Glasgow secondary schools the chance to win the ultimate fitness package.
One lucky school will receive a £1000 voucher for Factory Weights equipment. Two runners-up will each receive £500 vouchers, while a further three schools will take home £250 vouchers.
The vouchers can be redeemed against any Factory Weights sports equipment that will be used within the school’s fitness department to ensure all pupils have access to the best quality products on the market.
To top it off, the team at Factory Weights are also offering one deserving pupil the chance to win a spot within their new Personal Training Academy - worth £2000. The winner will have access to the full online and in-person PT course and will be a fully qualified personal trainer at the end of the block.
