A driver has been accused of running over a man and fleeing the scene.
Robert Johnstone, 29, allegedly caused serious injury to Anthony Parker by dangerous driving in Glasgow's Royston on March 8, 2021.
Court papers state Johnstone was behind the wheel of a Vauxhall Astra when he failed to slow down.
It is claimed that he drove at speed towards Mr Parker and struck him with the car.
Mr Parker is said to have landed on the bonnet of the car and fell to the ground.
The alleged offence is said to be to Mr Parker's severe injury, permanent impairment and to the danger of his life.
Johnstone faces a second charge of failing to stop to give his name and address as well as details of the owner of the car.
A third charge states Johnstone failed to report the matter to the police within 24 hours of it happening.
Further allegations claim Johnstone replaced the windscreen of the vehicle to avoid detection and went through a red light.
Johnstone pleaded not guilty to the five charges at Glasgow Sheriff Court last week.
A trial has been fixed for January by Sheriff Andrew Cubie.
Johnstone, of the city's Riddrie, remains on bail meantime.
