A LANE in Glasgow city centre has been taped off following a report of rape.
Police were called to Renfield Lane at 7.55am this morning.
An investigation into the serious sexual assault of a 30-year-old woman has been launched.
Cops say enquiries are at an early stage.

Officers were seen guarding the scene at 5.40pm today.
Either side of the lane was taped off, with police vehicles parked nearby.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.55am on Sunday, October 2, police received a report of a serious sexual assault on a 30-year-old woman in Renfield Lane, Glasgow.
"Enquiries are at an early stage into this incident.”
