A FISH and chip shop in Bearsden is serving an unusual dish - deep-fried Oreos with a side of chocolate sauce.

The sweet treat is being sold at Hook and Catch, Milngavie Road.

 

Food reviewers 'Glasgowgannets' featured the unique offering in one of their recent TikTok videos, which has racked up nearly 80,000 views.

Speaking about the deep-fried Oreos, one of the reviewers said: "I've not had these since I lived in America and if you've never tried them before, honestly, they're so good.

"They come with this chocolate dipping sauce that reminds me of the sort of sauce that you'd get with like hot doughnuts at a fair.

"The perfect sweet treat to finish off the meal."

A buttermilk chicken burger, ginger beer fish tacos, and katsu-loaded chips with curry sauce, cheese and onions also feature on the menu.
