A NEW dessert store has been given the go-ahead to open in Glasgow city centre.
Heavenly Desserts asked for permission to erect signs at 257 Sauchiehall Street.
The vacant unit was formerly home to BoConcept Store.
Planning bosses at Glasgow City Council have now approved the proposals.

We previously reported that the sweet treats brand opened a venue in Silverburn shopping centre in May.
Described as 'luxury' desserts, customers can expect the likes of ice cream, American and Belgian waffles and crepes.
The store also sells sundaes, coffee, smoothies, mocktails, cookie dough, and milkshakes.
