COPS are urging the public to stay indoors and keep windows closed as a huge fire engulfs the city.
We earlier reported that emergency services are on the scene dealing with a blaze that has ravaged a building on Kingston Street this morning.
It is understood that a furniture shop is on fire and staff we well as nearby residents had to be evacuated.
Officers have locked down multiple streets in the area and warned people to stay away.

People are being urged not to gather in the street and to keep their windows closed.
The closures include parts of Kingston Street, Centre Street, Nelson Street and West Street, with local diversions in place.
Inspector Pauline Thomson said: “We are asking everyone to avoid the area while our colleagues in the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service deal with the incident.
“We are also advising people to keep their windows closed due to the smoke and not to gather on the street.”
