A three-year-old boy was rushed to hospital yesterday following a crash on a busy road in Clydebank.
Police were called to the scene on Montrose Street after the alarm was raised shortly before 4pm.
An eyewitness told our sister title Clydebank Post that the street was temporarily cordoned off while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Officers confirmed that the crash involved a car and a three-year-old boy.
The child was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and has since been released.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a crash involving a car and a three-year-old boy on Montrose Street, Clydebank, around 3.50pm on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.
“The child was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and later released.”
