Police have swarmed Kilmardinny Loch after a body was found in Bearden.
A 59-year-old man was sadly discovered dead after the alarm was raised at around 9.55am this morning.
Pictures showed police vans and fire engines at the scene as investigations continued.
It is understood there are no suspicious circumstances linked to the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a concern for a person in the Bearsden area around 9.55am on Thursday, 3 November.
“Enquiries were carried out and the body of a 59-year-old man was found at Kilmardinny Loch.
“There are no apparent suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
