A MAN who allegedly broke into eight properties in East Kilbride and Rutherglen has been charged.
Cops arrested the 49-year-old man following the reported housebreakings.
He is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court today.

Lanarkshire Police thanked two local officers for their work.
They wrote: "A 49-year-old man from East Kilbride has been arrested and charged for 8 housebreakings from the East Kilbride and Rutherglen area.
"He is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court today. Thanks to local officers PC Alexander and PC Drewett."
