A MAJOR restaurant chain will be opening a new branch in XSite Braehead.
Monterey Jack’s, which specialises in American classics, will be opening in the centre later this month – in a unit that will seat more than 150 diners.
The opening will create local jobs, with the restaurant looking to recruit 30 new staff to run the new eatery.
Rosalind Gibson, marketing manager at XSite Braehead, said: “We are delighted to welcome Monterey Jack’s to XSite Braehead.
“It is going to be a strong addition to our already stellar leisure and retail offering here at XSite and I have no doubt that our customers will love its American-style food.”
Monterey Jack’s will be serving up gourmet burgers, hot dogs, pizzas, desserts, and cocktails.
The all-American brand recently secured ‘best burger’ at The Scottish Entertainment Awards, being unbeaten since 2019.

“The Monterey Jack’s brand is so on-trend and offers the perfect combination of fresh, handmade, award-winning food and drinks with great value, perfect for the family-orientated XSite Braehead.”
Naomi Dunkley, operations director at Monterey Jack’s, added: “XSite Braehead is a phenomenal location, and we are thrilled to bring the Monterey Jack’s brand to the centre alongside Dal and his team.
“The amazing people who visit XSite Braehead from near and far will have an awesome new venue to experience.”
