A new restaurant and late-night bar will open in Glasgow later this month.
August House is the newest edition to Mitchell Street in the city centre, a massive bar and restaurant spread over two floors.
The late-night spot will serve a Pan-Asian inspired concept menu with snacks and small plates and the cocktail menu features classics and signature drinks.
August House plans to host a variety of DJs seven nights a week and will have events in its basement events space, which will be transformed into a winter wonderland for December.

The new venue in Glasgow is the first to come to life from owner and managing director Andy McCartney, who plans to open more outlets in London, New York, and Dubai.
Andy said: “Mitchell Street is fast becoming the place to be in Glasgow and is surrounded by great bars and restaurants.
"We’ve earmarked sites to roll out in London, New York, Dubai, and Glasgow and when this unique space with two floors became available it was too much of a good opportunity to pass up.”
He added: “August House is the perfect place to spend your night out on the town with the best DJs seven nights a week playing the best in house music.
“However, it’s also a chic, yet affordable place to hang out during the day with delicious pan-Asian small plates such as our soft-shell crab tacos, fried chicken sando or the burrata.”

Dean Newton from Rough Design, the company that redesigned the Mitchell Street bar, said: “Using a super warm palette of colour and materials including soft velvet seating, curtains and organic features that reform the space; we’ve created a relaxed all-day venue that can transition into a DJ focussed late-night destination seamlessly.”
The building was previously occupied by Abandon Ship.
