Ryan Jack has opened up on his whiplash experience against Liverpool in the Champions League.
The Rangers midfielder suffered the uncomfortable injury after a challenge with World Cup-bound Ibrahima Konate.
During the 7-1 humiliation, the Liverpool defender's challenge gave Jack a double dunt.
As well as whiplash, Jack limped off after picking up a calf knock from the tackle too.
After spending several weeks on the sidelines, the Scotland midfielder returned to action during Rangers 1-1 draw with St Mirren.
He then featured for Steve Clarke's national side in Turkiye on Wednesday evening.
It was there he told the media about the painful experience during the Liverpool defeat
The 30-year-old said: “I actually got a bit of whiplash from the challenge from Konate — he hit my calf as well so it was a bit of a double whammy.
“I got it checked and everything was fine but there was just no point in rushing things.
“I’m fully fit now and I feel good. It was good to get some minutes for Scotland too.”
