With Christmas fast approaching, Glasgow's famous Style Mile Christmas Carnival is getting ready to take to the streets in a spectacular display.
The Carnival takes place annually and sees talented performers dress up and put on an amazing show for the people of Glasgow.
The event attempts to give onlookers a little bit of festive cheer as revellers prepare for Christmas celebrations.
Glasgow's Lord Provost, Jacqueline McLaren welcomed its return, saying: "The variety of entertainment available promises fun for everyone and adds to the wonderful line-up of festive events taking place across Glasgow in the run-up to Christmas."

What is the Glasgow Style Mile Christmas Carnival?
The Style Mile Christmas Carnival is a well-loved event that sees a whole host of performers, dancers, and musicians take to the streets in glamorous costumes.
The show is family-friendly and aims to spread a bit of festive joy as it travels across the city.
Don’t miss Rudolf, the Snowman pipe band and all of their festive friends as they travel the city centre with their Christmas magic for the Style Mile Carnival! Sunday 27 November.

What is happening at the Style Mile Christmas Carnival in 2022?
Glasgow Loves Christmas has unveiled plans to make the Style Mile Christmas Carnival even more special this year.
A variety of festive characters will dance their way down the route, including the Glasgow Loves Christmas Snowflake Chandelier and Christmas Tree Dance troupes, Giant Selfie Elfie and his troupe, the Snowmen and Elves Brass Band, Polar Bear and his Arctic Friends, Holly and the Ivy Stiltwalkers, and the Giant Christmas Magic Bauble.
The crowds will also be able to see performances by the junior member of Glasgow's Vivace Theatre School and Christmas carols sung by the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Choir.

Where does the Glasgow Style Mile take place?
The parade will pass through Buchanan Street, St Vincent Street, Royal Exchange Square, Gordon Street, the outside of Princes Square, House of Fraser, the cross of Argyle Street, Miller Street, and the cross of Argyle Street and Virginia Street.
When is the Style Mile Christmas Carnival taking place?
The Style Mile Christmas Carnival takes place on Sunday, November 27, and will run from 12:30 pm to 4 pm.
