Scots make-up star Jamie Genevieve is in the running for a prestigious award to celebrate top female entrepreneurs.
The influencer is one of the country's biggest success stories having built herself a business empire and worldwide social media presence with her brand Vieve.
Coming from Glasgow's make-up counters to creating her own brand of products and online content, Jamie has become a true Scottish trailblazer.
Now the 29-year-old has been announced as a finalist at the everywoman awards ‘brand of the future’ category, sponsored by the White Company.
The ceremony celebrates business owners from all walks of life, providing a platform for them to share their achievements, challenges, and stories of success.
Maxine Benson MBE, co-founder of everywoman, said: "For the past 20 years these awards have provided a platform to share the stories of hundreds of entrepreneurs; encouraging, emboldening, and empowering other women to follow suit. We hope their experiences will go onto inspire others and provide the motivation that will strengthen the backbone of the UK’s economy.”
Jamie has amassed an army of followers who swear by her easy-to-follow tutorials where she shares tricks to achieve her signature look.
She works closely with key international brand partners including NARS, GHD, Charlotte Tilbury and MAC.
Jamie was working on a beauty counter at Debenhams in Glasgow when she started posting on Instagram and YouTube.
She eventually quit her shop job to focus on her social media channels full-time and travels the world promoting herself and her products.
The make-up pro initially set up a studio at her kitchen table, and her now husband Jack McCann quit his job as a bricklayer to become her editor.
The award-winners will be announced at a live ceremony next month.
