Yuki Kobayashi is on his way to Scotland as Celtic's new signing gets ready to acclimatise to his new home.
The 22-year-old has penned a five-year deal with the Scottish champions.
The centre-back will officially become a Hoops player on January 1.
However, he is jetting in early as he gets the chance to get used to his new surroundings and meet his new teammates in Glasgow.
Kobayashi became the latest player from the J-League to join Ange Postecoglou at Celtic, following in the footsteps of Kyogo, Daizen Maeda, Reo Hatate and Yosuke Ideguchi.
A clip shared on Twitter by news site Kobe NP shows Kobayashi at the airport in Japan getting ready to board his flight.
Asked if he would get to his his country in action against Spain at the World Cup tonight, he said: "I want to see it, but maybe I won't be able to see it during the flight."
