A DOG was left tied to park gates for hours after being abandoned by its cruel owner.
The female pocket bully-type dog, who has cropped ears, was left outside Balloch Park on December 8.
She was spotted by a member of the public on their way to work, but when the same person was on their way back from work, they noticed the dog was still tied up.

She is now safe and in the care of the Scottish SPCA’s Dunbartonshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.
The animal welfare charity is appealing for information.
Ally Bibby, centre manager, said: “The dog is a female pocket bully type dog and is white with tan patches. She also has cropped ears.
“She was spotted by a member of the public who noticed the dog on their way to work on the morning of December 8 and then was understandably concerned when the dog was still there when they returned home that afternoon.
“The dog was not wearing a collar when she was found and is not microchipped.
“If anyone recognises this dog or has any information, we would ask that they contact our confidential animal helpline on 03000 999 999.”
