KEVIN Bridges has thanked his wife during an end-of-year post – after deleting the previous one due to “getting the fear”.
The famous Glasgow comedian, originally from Clydebank, shared a second heartfelt 'thank you' with his 155k followers earlier today.
We previously reported that Kevin mentioned his ‘legend of a son’ in a similar Instagram post last week, as he marked the end of his hugely successful UK-wide tour.
But today, he revealed that the post was deleted due to him “getting the fear”.
Kevin wrote: “Posted a few end of tour/year thank yous the other day but I ended up drunk, got the fear and deleted everything, alas…
"Big thank you to everyone who came to a show etc etc and to the comedy clubs like @thestandglasgow @standnewcastle @billmurraypub @topsecretcomedy @alwaysbecomedy for having me in to work up a show since back in Jan!
"@sohotheatre and @lsqtheatre as well - great venues and staff…
"Thanks to my brilliant tour manager @nckjenkin for being great at his job and great at being a dude.
"Thanks to some of the great comics who opened up the shows @chriswash_ (Liverpool/Newcastle) @susiemccabecomic (Glasgow/Aberdeen) and my man @karlkingov (Everywhere) Give them a follow and check them out on their own shows.
"Thanks to my main man and agent @rickhugohughes.”
Kevin also thanked his wife Kerry, who he married in 2019.
He added: “Final and most important thank you to @kerrybridges_ for being a great wife and most importantly a great mum to our apprentice legend of a son as I pounded the motorways getting my joke on for the best part of the year.
"What a gal and here’s a snap of us looking Instagram as f**k.”

The comedian then revealed his international tour dates will be announced soon, and that a special DVD will be recorded.
He ended his post with “Have a great Christmas folks and also, check out my book”.
His debut novel The Black Dog, which was released in August, tells the story of Declan, who dreams of being a writer but falls out with drug-dealing gangsters, and of the actor James Cavani, whose sister’s battle with drug addiction brings him back to a town he thought he had escaped.
