UPDATE: Staff 'shocked' after 'tragic' death of resident in Glasgow care home grounds
AN investigation is being carried out following the death of a man at a care home in Glasgow's Southside.
The man was found dead within the grounds of Chester Park Care Home at Lambhill Street, Kinning Park.
Police were called to the premises on Boxing Day morning.

An investigation was launched into the circumstances surrounding the death and the probe remains ongoing.
A force spokesperson said: “Around 7.40am on Monday, December 26, 2022, a man was found deceased within the grounds of a care home in Lambhill Street, Kinning Park, Glasgow.
"Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding his death.”
A spokesperson for Chester Park Care Home said: “Tragically, one of our long-term residents was discovered in the grounds of the home on Boxing Day.
"We are cooperating fully with police enquiries as we to try to determine the circumstances surrounding his death.
"Staff and fellow residents are shocked and deeply saddened at the loss of a much-loved friend.”
