STAFF have been left "shocked and deeply saddened" following the tragic death of a care home resident.
We previously reported that a man was found dead within the grounds of Chester Park Care Home at Lambhill Street, Kinning Park, on Boxing Day.
Bosses at the care facility have since confirmed that it was a "long-term resident" who passed away.

An investigation has been launched into the circumstances surrounding his death and the probe remains ongoing.
A spokesperson for Chester Park Care Home said: “Tragically, one of our long-term residents was discovered in the grounds of the home on Boxing Day.
"We are cooperating fully with police enquiries as we try to determine the circumstances surrounding his death.
"Staff and fellow residents are shocked and deeply saddened at the loss of a much-loved friend.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.40am on Monday, December 26, 2022, a man was found deceased within the grounds of a care home in Lambhill Street, Kinning Park, Glasgow.
"Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding his death.”
