A MAN allegedly threatened a member of the public with a knife in Renfrew.
Cops were called to Paisley Road yesterday following a report of a disturbance.
A 30-year-old man who was hiding in a property nearby was arrested.
He is due to appear in court today.

A tweet on Renfrewshire & Inverclyde Police read: "Group 4 attended a disturbance call at Paisley Road, Renfrew.
"A member of the public was threatened by a male brandishing a knife. A 30-year-old male was arrested who was hiding in a property nearby.
"The male is in custody for court today. #Group4 #KeepingPeopleSafe."
