A PENSIONER was rushed to hospital after being hit by a car last night.
Emergency services were called to Paisley Road in Renfrew at 9.40pm.
A 69-year-old woman was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
Cops closed part of the road to traffic for hours after an investigation was launched.

It was reopened in the early hours of this morning.
Enquiries into the accident are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 9.40pm on Thursday, January 5, 2023, officers were called to a report of a crash involving a pedestrian and a car on Paisley Road, Renfrew.
"The pedestrian, a 69-year-old woman, was taken by ambulance to the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
"The driver of the car was not injured.
"The road was reopened around 1am on Friday, January 6, 2023, and enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the crash."
