A GLASGOW pub has closed to undergo an exciting refurbishment.
The Grant Arms, in the city centre, will be shut until January 27 so work can be carried out.
Bosses previously informed customers that the pub, near Glasgow Central Station, will be having a makeover.
A post on the pub's social media account yesterday read: "And so it begins, day one of our renovation. We hope to see you all again when we reopen on January 27."
Photos showed tradesmen working inside the pub, with wallpaper being stripped off.
One person commented: "Looking forward to see the new look, think it will be amazing."
Another added: "Looking good. Canny wait to come back."
