POLICE are on the scene after a person was hit by a car in Paisley.
It's understood the incident occurred at Glasgow Road's junction with Lacy Street, close to the Burgh Bar, shortly before 11am.

Officers were on the scene alongside an ambulance.
The condition of individual is not known.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers are at the scene of this crash along with SAS (Scottish Ambulance Service).
"A pedestrian has been struck by a car at Glasgow Road.
"Officers were called around 10.55am today."
