A popular cafe has reopened after completing a 'major' revamp of the establishment.

Roasters cafe in Paisley is welcoming customers again from today (January 17) after shutting down at the start of the year.

The team took time off for ‘renovations’ which included creating a new menu as well as carrying out electrical and joinery works.

Customers were quick to reply with their excitement for the relaunch.

One person said: “Can’t wait to see the new layout.”

A second person said: “This is so exciting for you, I can’t wait to come back for a new upgrade on the fab roasters!”

A third person said: “Can’t wait to come and try something new.. as long as I can still get Mac n cheese as a side.”

We previously reported how the cafe went viral after Dan responded to a negative Tripadvisor review in September last year.

It comes after the punter slammed them for “cheap” coffee and meat as well as accusing them of watering down their cocktails.

It was then Dan reminded the individual not to “rubbish someone else’s hard work" over their “stinker of a mood”.

The exchange was shared on social media by the Roasters TikTok page and gathered more than 33k views and thousands of likes.

Dan captioned the video: "A proper stinkin made up review by a mad moron, love it."
