A MAJOR retailer with several stores in Glasgow is lining up administrators, reports Sky News.
It is believed that stationery chain Paperchase is searching for a new buyer and has put a professional services firm on standby to handle a potential insolvency.
The retailer has stores in Silverburn Shopping Centre in the city's Southside, as well as Buchanan Street.

A brand-new store opened on Byres Road in the West End in December 2022.
There is also a shop in Braehead Shopping Centre in Renfrew.
Sky News reports that sources say Paperchase was continuing to seek a solvent rescue deal.
In January 2021, Paperchase secured a rescue deal which preserved around 1,000 jobs and the majority of stores after tumbling into administration.
