A busy road is set to close overnight for inspectors to assess repairs at a railway bridge.
Motorists have been warned to expect some disruption as Network Raill shuts Crowhill Road in Bishopbriggs at the junction with the A803 at Kirkintilloch Road and Emerson Road on Friday at 10pm.

The route will reopen the next day at 6am. Drivers are being asked to plan their journey in advance and use alternative routes of their choice if possible.
Assigned diversions will be signposted.
