A MAN has been arrested after he allegedly crashed a stolen car whilst drunk.
Cops spotted the driver speeding in Maryhill in the early hours of this morning.
He was asked to stop by officers but reportedly failed to do so.
The car, which turned out to be stolen, was damaged after the 29-year-old allegedly crashed the vehicle into metal fencing on Drymen Road in Bearsden.

Police say he has been charged with theft of a vehicle, driving without insurance, drink driving, dangerous driving, and failing to stop.
Road Policing Scotland said: "#GlasgowRP saw this car travelling at high speed in Maryhill earlier this morning. It turned out to be stolen, then failed to stop and was pursued before crashing in Bearsden. No injuries. Driver arrested. Stolen car & fencing damaged. #fatal5 #dontriskit."
