ROAD repairs in Milngavie could take up to two weeks, it has been revealed.
We previously reported that a burst 36-inch main pipe caused major flooding at the junction of Auchenhowie Road and Glasgow Road yesterday afternoon.
As a result, a huge hole was formed in the road, which has been fenced off.

In Scottish Water's latest update, bosses revealed that Glasgow Road and parts of Auchenhowie Road will remain closed to ensure the safety of the staff and members of the public.
A statement read: "Due to the extent of the damage caused, it is expected that following the completion of the repair, we estimate 10-14 days for the full reinstatement and removal of traffic management and local diversions.
"However, as our reinstatement progresses we hope to be in a position to scale back on diversion routes.
"We apologise for the inconvenience and disruption that this is causing for our customers."
