RENFREWSHIRE has been handed a jobs boost with a popular coffee chain set to open their largest drive-thru outlet in the UK next week.
Costa Coffee's new branch, managed by Kirsty Burrows, can be found at the old Frankie & Benny's site in Abbotsinch Retail Park, Paisley.
The new store will be welcoming customers from 10am on Monday, with prizes to be handed out to the first 100 motorists who use the drive-thru.
A raffle will also be taking place to raise funds for the Costa Foundation, which supports schools in coffee-growing communities.
Kirsty told our sister title, The Gazette: "We are Costa Coffee's biggest drive-thru in the UK and we're hoping to attract lots of people to the retail park.
"We have recruited around 15 people who are local to Renfrewshire and our team are very enthusiastic, happy and down-to-earth.
"If anyone is looking for a wee chat or would just like to visit a friendly environment, this is definitely the place to come."
The regular opening hours for the shop will be 6am to 9.30pm on Mondays to Fridays, 7am to 8pm on Saturdays and 8am to 7pm on Sundays.
