A BID to turn a vacant office building near Ibrox Stadium into a home for multiple people has been lodged.
Plans have been submitted to Glasgow City Council asking for permission to use the premises at 191 Broomloan Road as a house in multiple occupation (HMO).
Proposals say current roller shutters will be removed and the windows will be replaced if the application is given the go-ahead.
Proposed floor plans show the ground floor having a reception, lounge area, kitchen, laundry room, cleaner cupboard and staff toilet, as well as five bedrooms, each with its own en-suite.
The first floor will have eight bedrooms with en-suites.
A neighbouring business director objected to the plans.

He claimed that a proposed bin storage area would prevent lorries from getting into their premises, which would "affect the business profoundly".
The business owner also raised concerns about security.
He said: "The yard is secured at night by steel security gates. This would need to continue or if we get broken into the burglars could drive out with thousands of pounds of equipment, so we are very worried about security at night.
"This is not a residential area."
Planning bosses are due to grant or reject the plans by March 17.
