SUBWAY has made moves to open a new store in a former Glasgow bank.
A planning application has been lodged to Glasgow City Council asking for a Subway sign to be erected at an empty unit at 247 Springburn Way.
The building, which is near Springburn Shopping Centre, was previously home to TSB.
Council bosses are set to approve or reject the proposals by March 16.
Plans to split the bank into two separate retail units were previously granted by planning bosses.
