JANEY Godley has responded to a troll who told her “you're meeting your maker soon” while she battles terminal cancer.
The Glasgow comic hit back on social media to the user who taunted her over her health issues.
It comes as the 62-year-old mum fights ovarian cancer which sadly cannot be cured, but she is continuing chemotherapy in a bid to control it.

Now one Twitter user has told her “you're meeting your maker soon, don’t forget” along with transphobic messages leaving Janey disgusted.
She was quick to put the troll in their place by calling out the callous behaviour before wishing them a “good day".
Your meeting your maker soon. Don’t forget

I will be remembered for being a strong rape survivor, a good mother, a supportive human - you will be remembered for trolling a woman dying of cancer on a social media platform - I wish you peace and love as it always wins over hate https://t.co/V02MyXypHw

The mum-of-one was also quick to remind them she will be remembered as “a strong rape survivor, a good mother and a supportive human” after she dies.
She replied: “I know you’re anti-trans and you’re reminding me of my impending death from my terminal cancer.
"I wish you a good day and look after yourself.”

The Twitter user responded to the comedian saying: “I’m just stating a fact. Here’s another fact. A woman can’t have a PENIS. No hate here.
"Just logic and common sense. Keep stirring your sh**** stick. This is what you will be remembered for.”
Janey responded by saying: “I will be remembered for being a strong rape survivor, a good mother, a supportive human - you will be remembered for trolling a woman dying of cancer on a social media platform - I wish you peace and love as it always wins over hate.”
Many of Janey’s 285,000 followers swarmed to her defence and sent messages of support.
One person said: “People will remember you for all the things you have been through and overcome.
“You will also be remembered for the strength you have shown through your biggest battle of all.”
A second person said: “You'll be remembered for being brilliant, if you ask me.”
A third person said: "Janey, I don’t know you, but I’ve appreciated your posts, your humour and your strength. I’m so sad that you have to deal with this on top of everything else. There’s a lot of love for you here. Stay strong!”
A fourth person said: “Well said! You will also be remembered for dealing with this vile abuse with dignity!”
