A MAN who was caught driving more than three times the booze limit has been banned.
Graeme McInnes, 35, appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday after previously admitting to several road traffic offences.
Procurator fiscal depute Laura Martin said: “Just after midnight on November 10, 2021, police had reason to stop the accused travelling in his vehicle.
“Police believed him to be under the influence of alcohol due to his reactions and speech. He failed a roadside breath test and was conveyed to London Road.
“The accused was cautioned and charged and stated he wished to speak with his lawyer.”
In a separate incident on October 18, 2021, cops had reason to stop McInnes who was driving on Overton Street, Cambuslang.
A police system check revealed that he had no insurance and no licence.
Cops then searched the vehicle and found 14 grams of cannabis in the boot.

McInnes, of Blantyre, was cautioned and charged and made no reply.
The court heard the drugs were worth £100.
Sheriff Diana McConnell said: “My hands are tied as I don’t have a full criminal justice social work report.
“I can see he’s doing okay on the community payback order he’s currently subject to. I have limited disposals available to me.”
McInnes’ lawyer explained that his client could pay a fine.
Sheriff McConnell added: “These matters have been going on for a long time now. It’s in your interest for them to be dealt with.
“You’re doing quite well on your community payback order. I can deal with this matter by fine and disqualification.”
He was fined £580, handed six points on his licence, and disqualified from driving for 14 months.
