A POPULAR ice cream shop in Renfrew has temporarily closed for a major refurbishment.
Sprinkles, in Inchinnan Road, has been been shut since December as renovation work got underway.
In a Facebook post on Saturday evening, a spokesperson for the shop issued an update on the refurbishment.

They said: "We have not closed down, we are giving Sprinkles a beautiful new look.
"The refurbishment has unfortunately took a little longer than we expected due to builders and few other bumps but we are full steam ahead now.
"Sprinkles is getting well deserved makeover after nine years of hard work.
"You won’t be disappointed when you see the new look."
