Michael Beale and his Rangers players didn't hang about after their Viaplay Cup final loss this afternoon.

The Ibrox club's representatives all appeared to head straight down the tunnel shortly before Celtic lifted the League Cup trophy this evening.

Ange Postecoglou's side prevailed as 2-1 winners from the game at Hampden, with Kyogo bagging a brace.

Alfredo Morelos did get one back for Rangers in the second half.

However, it was not enough for Beale's men as they fell to defeat at the national stadium and Celtic made it 22 trophies from the last 11 years.

The Rangers players and coaching staff did not stay on the pitch to watch their arch rivals lift the cup, though.

As soon as they collected their medals, it was straight down the tunnel for all of the Light Blues.

The match also spelled the end to Beale's unbeaten run in charge of Rangers, stretching back to mid-December.

It marked Postecoglou's third trophy accumulated under his management at Parkhead.
