A MUM has told how she was frozen with fear after her Ring doorbell captured a prowler outside her home.
Nicole Kempton told how she was watching television when she heard loud banging sounds coming from her garden.
She was then sent a notification to her phone from the system that showed the intruder brazenly trying to gain access to her property, before spotting the camera and running off.
Nicole, 26, who is 36 weeks pregnant, exclusively told the Glasgow Times: “I was watching TV when I heard three loud thumps coming from the garden.
“I thought it was strange and was just about to go and check to see what was going on. Then the app on my phone showed a man jumping over the fence and trying to get inside.
“It was really scary as my two young kids were sleeping upstairs, as well as my partner, and it was clear that this individual was looking to get into our home and garden shed.
“I just couldn’t believe how brazen he was. It was only around 11pm, so it wasn't even in the dead of night. It left me frightened but also angry that someone thought he had the right to try and do this.
The footage was captured on Saturday, February 18 at Nicole's home in Househillwood Crescent in Pollok.
The shaken mum reported the incident to the police and is sharing the footage in a bid to warn others in the area to be on their guard and keep their doors and windows locked.

She adds: “Thankfully, our property was secure, and he wasn’t able to get in.
“He jumped over from our neighbour’s garden and then made off. I just want people to be careful and make sure their property is properly locked up. There are a lot of elderly people living here and I’d hate to think of something like this happening to them."
Nicole told how she had the Ring doorbell installed just four weeks ago.
She added: “I don’t know if he ran off because he spotted the camera or not, but hopefully this acts as a deterrent. I'm glad we caught him on camera and hopefully the police will be able to use the images to track him down. Maybe if he sees this story, he will think twice about doing anything like this again.
“What angers me most is that I’m heavily pregnant and my young kids were upstairs sleeping. It is a traumatic thing to watch someone live as they try and get into your house while you are on the other side of the door.
“I’m just hoping the police can identify him as I don't want this to happen to anyone else.”

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made.
Increased patrols are now in place after thieves attempted to enter cars, houses and sheds throughout Pollok with residents claiming incidents have increased in recent months.
Chief Inspector Derrick Johnston, local area commander, said: “We are aware of concerns regarding a number of attempted break-ins to houses, cars, and sheds in the Pollok area recently.
“Increased patrols are in place.
“Taking a few minutes to ensure your property and any outbuildings or vehicles are secure can help deter criminals. In addition to appealing to residents to take basic security precautions, it is important that people are vigilant in their own neighbourhoods and report anyone they think is behaving suspiciously.
"We are very grateful for this type of community intelligence as it greatly assists us in tackling crime."
