A MAJOR retailer has applied for permission to move back to a prominent Glasgow city centre street.
Next, which vacated its Argyle Street unit in December 2022, has now made moves with Glasgow City Council to open up a store at 71 Argyle Street.
The empty unit, which used to house Topshop, sits next to HMV, across from Deichmann.

In the application, the fashion giant outlined plans to erect signage at the entrance.
It is currently pending consideration with the council and a decision is expected to be made by Friday, April 21.
