A SPECIAL fundraising event will be held in memory of a "magical person" who spent her life proving people wrong.
Next month, Ally Robb's family and friends will gather to support the day service at Drumchapel's Enable Glasgow Fortune Works, which she attended for nine years.
The 47-year-old, who was dubbed Super Ally by her pals at the centre, passed away in January last year after a battle with pneumonia.
The event, which will be held in Drumchapel on April 22, will include raffles and auctions with some amazing prizes on offer and is expected to attract more than 200 guests with the hopes of raising more than £10,000.

Kirsteen Sawers, Ally’s younger sister, said Ally would have loved a night like this.
She said: “This is an event Ally would have really enjoyed, she would have been up on the dancefloor, grabbing the mike, making a speech and bossing everyone around!
“She was so loved by us and by everyone who knew her. She was brave and courageous, and in the face of adversity and challenge throughout her whole life she battled through and proved people wrong time and time again.
"She loved to dance, sing, party, she loved acting and drama and she really was a magical person who was beautiful inside and out.”
Generous pals and well-wishers have been busy donating prizes, including a pool cue signed by John Higgins, a four ball at the Carrick in Loch Lomond, the supply and fit of a bedroom carpet, a Stobo Castle evening spa voucher and much, much more.
Kirsteen added: “Ally loved her many years at Fortune Works and was a massive character there. She was the life and soul, chief organiser, and always putting forward ideas and suggestions and trying to organise and sort everyone - so much so that you would have thought she was a member of staff!
"She loved the drama club and was usually the leading part in the pantos.
“She had some amazing friends at Fortune Works and none more so than the group of pals affectionately known as the get-along-gang, she loved them all very much.”

She is survived by her mum and dad, Eileen and Norrie Robb, her brother Stuart Robb, his wife Leanne, her sister Kirsteen and her husband Stephen as well as her three nephews, Mason, Drew and Alfie, and one niece, Lexi.
Anne Ainsworth, Fortune Works head of social enterprise, said: “Ally had such a huge impact on the service and everyone here. She is very sadly missed by us all, everyone still talks so fondly about her – and some of her antics!
“We are incredibly grateful to Ally’s family for organising this event in support of Fortune Works - a place she absolutely loved coming to.
“The night will be a fitting tribute to Ally who loved a good party!”
Fortune Works is a social enterprise which supports 115 adults with a learning disability to take part in meaningful economic activity and engage in the community in a supported way. This fundraising will have a significant positive impact on the service users of Fortune Works.
