TWO men were caught trespassing on Subway lines in Glasgow - forcing services to come to a halt.
Cops were called to St Enoch Subway station shortly before 4pm yesterday afternoon.
We previously reported that the incident caused all services to shut down for more than an hour.
The two men were not traced, but an investigation is ongoing.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: "Officers were called to St Enoch station at 3.53pm on March 12 following reports of two men trespassing.
"Officers quickly attended and conducted a search of the area but there was no trace of the individuals.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
At around 4pm yesterday, Glasgow Subway tweeted: “Apologies all, Subway is currently suspended on both circles due to a passenger incident.
“Police have been notified. Will update when services resume. Apologies for the inconvenience.”
Subway services resumed at 5.21pm.
