FILM crews have been spotted setting up a base on a busy street in Clydebank today.
Our sister title The Clydebank Post took a trip to the filming location on Kilbowie Road - just opposite Clyde Shopping Centre - to try and catch a glimpse of the action.
While no cameras were rolling, crew members were working hard in preparation for filming scenes for the popular BBC drama Shetland.
Shooting for the eighth series of the show began this week and is reportedly expected to be completed in July.
However, film crews will only be in the town for one day.
Our reporter used their investigative skills - much like the show's star Detective Jimmy Perez, who is portrayed by Scots actor Douglas Henshall - to snap some photos of the set before it disappears.
