A popular sports shop has announced its sudden closure after seven years.
Run4It, which specialises in clothing, footwear and accessories for avid runners, will close the doors of its Giffnock business for good on Saturday, April 1.
Staff said the decision was "really tough" but they will focus more greatly on their Glasgow city centre shop.
A statement read: "As you may already know, we have made the really tough decision to close our Giffnock shop and to consolidate our business in Glasgow. The shop will close permanently at 6pm on Saturday 1st April 2023.
"On behalf of all of the team, we would like to THANK all of our amazing Giffnock runners and customers for their custom and support over the past 7 years.
"We hope you will choose to visit us at our city centre shop, where you will find our Giffnock managers Jack and Dean, and some of the team."
Customers were disappointed at the news, with many taking to comment on social media.
One person wrote: "Sorry to hear this. Always got excellent customer service."
Another said: "What a shame! Got my last few pairs of running shoes there."
